TO oversee mechanisms for developing the Organization’s services Abu-Ghazaleh Visits TAG-Org Offices in Syria

 DAMASCUS - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh visited the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) offices in Damascus to set up development plans and oversee progress in operations and activities mainly in the fields of capacity building, digital transformation and knowledge dissemination.
 Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride at the professional and ethical commitment by TAG-Org staff to conduct their work even during the country’s crisis.

 During his visit, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed the necessity for developing TAG-Org businesses by continuing to hire the required qualified staff from the Syrian professional workforce.
In addition, the following topics and projects were discussed for joint implementation:
 - Introducing and implementing capacity-building programs for university students and graduates to qualify them to enter the labor market.
- To adopt and accredit the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT) to fight Internet illiteracy.
- To coordinate with the competent authorities for the establishment of  Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Talal Abu Ghazaleh University College for Applied Business and IT (Bachelor’s Degree Program).
- To coordinate with the competent authorities for the establishment of educational centers in Syria for Cambridge English Language Assessment.
- To coordinate with the competent authorities for the establishment of TAG-Confucius for teaching Chinese language.
- To carry out TAG-Org E-archiving business.
- To discuss with the Ministry of Finance the provision of training on the implementation of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs).
- To coordinate with the competent authorities for the provision of TAG-Org services in the transformation into e-government.
- To coordinate with the relevant authorities the printing and free of charge distribution of ‘Talal Ibn Adeebah’ story at Syrian schools to incorporate in the curriculum the dissemination of motivational values of success, ambition and persistence among students. 
- To brief the Ministry of Finance on TAG-Org services in conducting feasibility studies for small and medium-sized enterprises to enable them to obtain loans from local banks.
- To offer TAG-Org services to the competent authorities for the implementation of privatization programs based on transforming government agencies into shareholders whereby the government retains a ‘golden’ controlling share.
- To discuss with the Ministry of Higher Education the services in the field of quality education and academic accreditation.
- To boost TAG-Org cooperation with the Syrian Virtual University (SVU) by inaugurating new examination centers all over the world.
