AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh hosted Eng. Mustafa Al Dasouqi, founder of "My School is my Responsibility" initiative.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed the importance of this initiative that aims at preserving school properties and fixing damaged furniture mainly students’ desks.

 

This concept is similar to the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Computer Refurbishment project and their distribution among charitable organizations and schools.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized his support for this initiative through the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization’s various services mainly in preparing publications that promote the initiative and its objectives.

Abu-Ghazaleh suggested that a letter should be sent to H.E. the Minister of Education seeking his guidance and support. This initiative follow the TAG initiative for refurbishment of computers which was supported by the Prime Minister.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh established a special independent committee at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum that carries the name of the initiative to promote the importance of preserving properties at public schools throughout the Kingdom.

Al Dasouqi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s support to his initiative that is still limited to schools in Zarqa Governorate, stating that by implementing this initiative the Ministry of Education will decrease expenditures on furniture to nearly 80%.
