    Abu-Ghazaleh Bids Farewell to the USA Ambassador

    AMMAN- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh received in his office HE Ms. Alice G. Wells, the outgoing Ambassador of the United States to Jordan in a farewell meeting that discussed Jordan-US relations and the role of the United States in supporting Jordan’s economy, education and defense cooperation.

     

    Moreover, the two parties reviewed the role and contributions of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in various sectors most notably in the field of financial reform, economy, government capacity building, private sector, social development as well as the military cooperation.

    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for her active role in developing the bilateral relations and her keenness in enhancing the economic ties between the two countries, pointing out her constant follow up of His Majesty King Abdullah II directives which the Ambassador considered as her navigation plan while at the same time her striving to meet the objectives of the US government in presenting all possible support to the Kingdom.


    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh reiterated that Jordan is looking for more support and advancement of relations to new exceptional levels, referring to the strategic role of Jordan in a region that witnesses radical changes at all levels, saying that Jordan is a key player in maintaining stability and growth the region.
