AMMAN – The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting (TAG-Consult) signed an agreement to archive all lawsuits and notary documents; implementing the strategic plan of the Ministry to develop courts’ procedures and protect all its lawsuits and files.

 

The agreement was signed by Secretary General of the Ministry Judge Ahmed Jamaliyeh and Executive Director of TAG-Consult Mr. Samer Abu-Rashid in the presence of representatives of both parties.

 

"The Ministry seeks to cooperate with the private sector to contribute to the development and update of courts’ procedures. This will benefit the citizens and other service recipients," Judge Jamaliyeh said

"Archiving lawsuits and notary documents protects and saves files, papers and transactions of the notary such as power of attorneys, contracts among others," he stated.

 

Jamaliyeh added: "Archiving helps the employees access files and papers easily, facilitates judges' work and makes it easier for citizens to complete their transactions. It also helps lawyers in their work since they will be able to review the archived records of lawsuits and make copies of lawsuits assigned to them.”

 

On his part, TAG Electronic Archiving Director Samer Ramahi thanked the Ministry for their confidence in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, pointing out that according to the agreement, 20 million documents of lawsuits, including executive cases and notary documents will be archived with a high quality.

 

"This agreement is a part of the cooperation that the Organization seeks to achieve with all ministries and government institutions, serving the institutions and citizens alike," he added.

 

TAG-Org established its regional office for e-archiving in Maan in 2015 in order to serve local and Arab institutions and facilities using modern information and communications technology which saves data and files, retrieves them and protect them against damage and theft.
