AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co Consulting (TAG-Consult) and King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) signed a cooperation agreement to develop the Bureau’s AS9100, the Aerospace Quality Management System.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), founded in 1972, is the largest global group of professional service firms in different fields. It operates out of 86 offices and 180 representative offices worldwide.

TAG-Consult is dedicated to providing different quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, food and medical products systems as well as aviation services. It succeeded in executing projects with many profit, non-profit, governmental and educational institutions.

King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) is an independent government entity within the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) aiming at becoming a global defense and security research and development hub in the region. The Bureau’s scope of work includes Defense Design and Development, Test and Evaluation, Technology Incubation in the Kingdom and Defense Technology Training provided to members of the Armed Forces and security services and officers of the militaries of the Arab countries.

The Bureau aspires to increase the efficiency, knowledge and professionalism of its personnel, design and development methods and find applicable solutions to all security needs. KADDB also developed good relations with the Jordanian universities by creating an environment suitable for students to apply their research and scientific projects.

This agreement will develop the quality management program that is basically applied in the Bureau and complies with ISO9001. It is more specialized and complies with the requirements of airlines in according with AS9100 standard which is particularly concerned with the application of a quality management system specialized in the aviation weapons laboratories (such as unmanned aircrafts) and all its requirements - from the administrative procedures to the technical procedures including the work environment and the required technical tests. This system is a combination of both the quality and the occupational health and safety systems (quality management and risk management).
