Abu-Ghazaleh Speaks to the Youth at Zain Innovation Campus

 

 

AMMAN-------September 20, 2015----- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh organization (TAG-Org), the global organization for professional services and education stressed on the fact that education is the key to success.

 

Speaking upon an invitation by Zain Jordan CEO Ahmad Al Hanandeh to a host of young Jordanians at the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), a platform for supporting Entrepreneurship, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh focused on the need to support youths and their ideas.

 

"We all need to support the next generation of leaders who represent various fields and by doing that we make sure that the future of our grandchildren is safe," Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said.

 

"If we were seeking development, then creativity is its engine and is a tool to achieve competitiveness. Only youth can create that. They are the creativity engine in the knowledge world," he added.

 

Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that life is not easy and youths should have hope in everything citing examples of technology workers who chose to drop out but managed to develop, for example, applications that made them billionaires.

 

"I believe that each and every person deserves the chance to succeed in a fast changing world driven by technology and the search for knowledge," he said.

 

He also shed light on his own personal experience since childhood till graduation with excellence from the American University of Beirut despite the suffering he passed through due to the forced displacement of Palestinians saying: "Suffering is a blessing and it gives us the power to move on in life and be creative and successful."

 

"Instead of feeling disappointed and weak, I decided to confront my own suffering, overcome it and transfer it into a virtue. We have to work hard and not to give in to despair and suffering, so I had to learn and this was a virtue, and I had to work while studying and this was another virtue, and my work provided me with strength and experience," he said.  

 

He pointed out that he is a living example of hard work and determination where he managed to establish the largest and the most leading global organization that offers various services through its 81 offices around the world with more to be operational in the near future..

 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh revealed his passion for information technology saying:" I have been a passionate student of technology since ages and I see that the future of technology will be in good hands especially when we have people like Zain Jordan CEO Ahmad Al Hanandeh taking care of youths and their ideas."

 

In 2009, UN appointed Abu-Ghazaleh Chair of UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development to lead the Alliance, composed of representatives from public, private and civil society sectors as well as international organizations. 

 

Meanwhile, ZAIN CEO Al Hanandeh expressed his admiration of Abu-Ghazaleh's passion for youths and their dreams saying that the youths should take Abu-Ghazaleh as an example of a person who worked hard to achieve the impossible.

 

"We are all proud of our guest and his achievements which cover almost all fields and he did it perfectly and without hesitance; we thank him for being a passionate person about the field we work in because he knows it is the future," he said.  

 

 “Zain Innovation Campus” is spread over 630 square meters in the premises of King Hussein Business Park, and provides all the requirements needed by startups in addition to providing teleconferencing features with “500 Startups” in the United States, which is considered the largest business incubator around the world, and through this campus, Zain aims to assist the youth to convert their innovative ideas into productive projects, to be marketed locally, regionally and globally.
